Ask about your office’s numbers

Type a question the way you would ask a colleague. Vera answers from your office’s own sales, pay, leads, goals and team: the numbers Agency Edge already keeps for you. She can look at sales and premium, trends over time, pace against your goals, who’s behind, a producer’s forecast, lead vendor ROI, Employee ROI, the team as a whole, retention and payouts.

A new chat offers a few questions to start with:

  • “Who’s behind pace this month?”
  • “Biggest premium movers”
  • “Who’s out this week?”
  • “Which lead source returned the most?”
  • “Bundle opportunities”
  • “Payouts due this month”

When a picture says it faster, the answer comes with a chart, such as a monthly trend, the split by product line, or lead vendor ROI. Lists of people or vendors come back as tables you can read at a glance.

Under an answer, Vera offers a few questions to ask next, such as a producer’s full profile or how this month compares with last. Click one, or type your own follow-up in the same chat. Ask “Who’s behind pace this month?” and the answer lists each producer with their goal, their sales so far and the gap, so you know who to talk to before the month is out.

Every answer shows what Vera read

Under every answer, one line says what Vera read to get there, for example Vera read: Goals · Sales · Team. You can see at once whether the answer came from your goals, your sales, your payouts or your leads.

Short notes under an answer point out anything in the data worth knowing before you act on it, such as a figure that is still a projection. They are built from your numbers, not added for show.

The box you type in says it plainly: Vera can make mistakes — check important numbers. Every figure she gives is one you can open on its own page and check.

Vera noticed

The side of the Ask Vera page shows what Vera noticed in your office’s numbers, without being asked. Each card is one thing worth a look:

  • a lead source that is losing money
  • a producer with no sales in a while
  • a drop in cross-sell, or households that hold only one line
  • someone behind pace with time off coming
  • a bonus within reach
  • lapses speeding up
  • the biggest movers against last month

Click a card and Vera answers it in a chat, with the numbers behind it.

The cards come from the same numbers as the rest of Agency Edge, so they change when your sales, leads and goals do. The panel says when it last looked, and a refresh button brings it up to date.

A weekly brief every Monday morning

Every Monday morning a weekly brief is ready in the app. It sits at the top of the owner’s chat list, and the notification bell says it is there. It covers the week just gone: production, pace, the movers, producer goals and cross-sell targets.

Because the brief is a chat, you can reply to it: ask about any producer, line or number it names, and Vera answers in the same thread. The brief is not emailed. It stays in the app, where you can ask Vera about anything in it. The owner can switch it off in Settings. If you want an email in the inbox instead, that is what the separate digest emails are for.

Save a chat as a PDF or email it to your team

Anyone who can use Vera can press Save as PDF and download the whole chat, charts included.

The owner or an admin can press Email to the team, choose who gets it and add a note. Everyone gets the same email with the chat attached as a PDF.

Vera never sends anything by herself. A person presses the button every time.

Chats stay in your list. You can pin, rename, search, archive and restore them. Each person sees only their own chats, so a producer’s questions stay theirs.

Ask Vera answering what the office paid out in September, by person, with each team member’s base, bonuses and total paid

You choose what Vera can see

In Settings › Emails & Vera › AI data access the owner has one switch for each kind of office data:

  • Team members
  • Salary & Commission
  • Sales
  • Leads
  • ROI, Goals & Activity
  • Schedule & PTO
  • Policy Activity, where your office has it

With a switch off, Vera says that data isn’t enabled instead of answering. The Ask Vera page shows What Vera can see, with a Change link to these switches.

The owner can always use Vera. A team member can when the owner ticks the Vera (AI Assistant) permission for them; a Basic member never can. Vera answers only for the office you’re working in.

What Vera does not do

Vera reads your numbers and explains them. She doesn’t connect to anything outside Agency Edge, and the rest is up to you.

  • She doesn’t write quotes or policies.
  • She doesn’t talk to your customers, call them or text them.
  • She doesn’t change your data by herself.
  • She doesn’t send email on her own.
  • She doesn’t predict your sales with certainty.
  • She doesn’t give legal, compliance or underwriting advice.

When Vera suggests an action, such as setting a goal, it opens the usual window already filled in. Nothing is saved until you press Save yourself.

Built into Agency Edge

Vera is not a separate tool to set up. She reads the sales, pay, leads and goals your office already tracks in Agency Edge, so her answers start the day your numbers do. There is nothing extra to import for her and no second login: open Ask Vera from the menu and type.

Before you ask

What is Vera?

Vera is the AI assistant inside Agency Edge. You ask about your office’s own numbers in plain English, and she answers from the sales, pay, leads, goals and team your office already keeps, with a chart or table when it helps.

What can I ask Vera?

Questions about your office: sales and premium, trends, pace against goals, who’s behind, lead vendor ROI, Employee ROI, team performance, retention and payouts. A new chat offers a few to start with, such as “Who’s behind pace this month?”

Does each answer show where it came from?

Yes. Under every answer, a line says what Vera read, for example Goals, Sales and Team. Notes under an answer point out anything in the data worth knowing, and the app reminds you that Vera can make mistakes, so check important numbers.

Is the weekly brief emailed?

No. The weekly brief is ready in the app every Monday morning, as a chat in the owner’s list, and the notification bell says so. The owner can switch it off in Settings.

Can I share a Vera chat with my team?

Yes. Anyone who can use Vera can save a chat as a PDF. The owner or an admin can press Email to the team, choose who gets it and add a note. Vera never sends anything by herself.

Who chooses what Vera can see?

The owner. Settings has one switch for each kind of office data, and with a switch off, Vera says that data isn’t enabled instead of answering. The owner also decides which team members can use Vera at all.

Does Vera write quotes, call customers or change my data?

No. Vera only reads. When she suggests an action, it opens the usual window already filled in, and nothing is saved until you press Save yourself. She doesn’t write quotes or talk to customers.

What does it cost?

$199 a month per office, with every feature and every team member included. No per-seat fees, and setup with us is included. Each extra office is $99 a month. Beta pricing; final pricing is set before public launch.
