Commission tracking software for insurance agencies, independent and captive
Agency Edge is commission tracking software for insurance agencies. It takes in the sales reports you already get and works out each producer’s commission and bonuses by your own rules. You review every pay period before anyone is paid. It’s built for independent agencies with 5 to 15 producers, and for captive agents — State Farm, Allstate, Farmers — who pay a team of licensed staff.

How Agency Edge tracks and pays commissions
Three steps, every pay period: your sales come in, your plan does the math, you review and pay.
Bring in the sales reports you already get
Upload your sales report just as it comes. Agency Edge reads the columns, remembers how you matched them for next time, and never adds a sale twice — if an issue date has changed, it updates that sale instead. Or record a sale in the app in a few clicks. Last year’s history can come in too, so your renewals and leaderboards start full.

Commission plans that match how you pay
Set a base rate for each product line, and a different rate by policy type or business type wherever you pay differently. Then add the bonuses you already run: tiers and rate boosters, milestones, streaks, flat dollars per policy, and team bonuses everyone on the plan shares. Each person is on one plan at a time, and a plan change starts on a date you choose — never inside a month you’ve already paid.

Review every pay period before anyone is paid
Pay monthly, twice a month, every two weeks, or on any day — there’s no set schedule. Before each run, Pay Team shows what each person is owed and the sales behind it. Agency Edge works out the pay and keeps the record, with a Payroll Summary PDF for every run; you pay through your own payroll, as you do today.

Built for independent agencies
Independent agencies pay producers across many carriers and lines. Agency Edge tracks production by line of business and pays each line at its own rate.
Rates by line, policy type and business type
Auto, Fire, Life, Health or any line you write, each with its own rate. New business, added policies and rewrites can pay differently, in your own words for them.
Production by line of business →
See what each producer wrote, line by line, month by month.
More than one office, one login
Run several offices from one login, each with its own team, plans and pay. Switch from the header; nothing mixes between them.

Agency Edge pays your team from your sales reports. It doesn’t reconcile carrier commission statements today — here’s how the two jobs differ.
Built for State Farm, Allstate and other captive agencies
Captive agents pay a team of licensed staff on the policies they write, plus bonuses for the work around the sale.
Team member bonus plans
Pay a percent of premium or a flat amount per policy, with tiers, milestones, streaks and team goals on top.
Activities that pay
A bonus per review or appointment, logged by your team and counted by month.
National, state and league leaderboards
Share your office’s numbers to see everyone else’s.
Internet lead ROI
Upload your lead files and see which vendors turn into policies and which cost you money. Works with lead files from EverQuote, QuoteWizard, SmartFinancial, MediaAlpha, ZipQuote and more.
Life and Health credits under the Rule of 78 and 108, month by month.
Agency Edge doesn’t connect to State Farm, Allstate or any carrier’s systems. Your sales and leads come from the reports your office already gets — you upload them, or record a sale by hand.

Chargebacks, carryovers and commission changes
When a policy cancels, choose how the commission comes back: all of it, or only the unearned part, prorated by the days the policy was in force. It waits in a chargeback balance you draw against at your next Pay Team run — nothing comes out on its own, and a check never goes negative.
A sale written one month and issued the next carries into the paycheck where it issues, at the rate locked when it was written.

Every paycheck shows the sales behind it
Each paycheck shows every sale behind it, with its rate and what it earned. Bonuses sit beside it with how they were earned — which tier, which milestone, which month.
Team members start with Basic access and see their own pay, and nobody else’s. Pay rates, ROI and other people’s pay stay with you unless you grant them.

More than commissions
Pay is optional. Upload the sales and lead reports you already get and you have everything else:
Employee ROI — what each hire costs, what they bring in, and the month they break even.
Lead vendor ROI — which lead sources turn into policies.
Goals and pace — where the month and the year will land at today’s pace.

Agency Edge vs. a spreadsheet
| Spreadsheet | Agency Edge | |
|---|---|---|
| Sales come in | Copied and pasted from each report | The report uploads as it comes; repeats aren’t added twice |
| Tiers, boosters and team bonuses | A formula per rule, checked by hand | Set once on the plan, worked out every period |
| Written this month, issued next | Tracked from memory | Carried into the paycheck where it issues, at the locked rate |
| Chargebacks | Worked out by hand | All or prorated, drawn from a balance at your next run |
| What a producer sees | The number you tell them | Their own paycheck, sale by sale |
| Who else sees pay | Whoever opens the file | Only the people you grant |

Before you ask
Is Agency Edge for independent or captive agencies?
Both. Independent agencies use it to pay producers by line of business. Captive agents use it to pay licensed team members their commissions and bonuses.
How do insurance agencies track producer commissions?
Most start in a spreadsheet: the sales report goes in, and a formula per rule works out each producer’s pay. Commission tracking software works from the same report, applies every tier and bonus rule each pay period, and keeps a record of what was paid.
How do State Farm and Allstate agents pay team member bonuses?
Usually a percent of premium or a flat amount per policy, with bonuses for volume, cross-sells and activities like reviews. Agency Edge works these out from the office’s own sales report each pay period.
Can it pay commission the way we already do?
Yes. Monthly, twice a month or every two weeks. Base rates by product. Tiers, boosters, milestones, streaks and team bonuses. Chargebacks in full or prorated. You review every pay period before anyone is paid.
Will my team see each other’s pay?
No. Team members start with Basic access: Home, the office’s sales, Leaderboards, the calendar and their own pay. Pay rates, ROI and other people’s pay stay with you unless you grant them.
Do I have to run payroll through Agency Edge?
No. Pay is optional. Upload the sales and lead reports you already get and you have everything else: sales trends, lead conversion and ROI, team performance, goals and pace, leaderboards and Ask Vera. Turn on pay whenever you’re ready.
How do my sales get in?
Upload the sales and lead reports you already receive, or record a sale in the app in a few clicks. Last year’s history can come in too, so your renewals and leaderboards start full.
How are chargebacks handled?
In full or prorated — you choose in your pay settings. A chargeback goes into a balance you draw against when you run Pay Team, so nothing comes out on its own.
What does it cost?
$199 a month per office, with every feature and every team member included. No per-seat fees, and setup with us is included. Beta pricing; final pricing is set before public launch.
Does it reconcile carrier commission statements?
Not today. Agency Edge works out and records your team’s commissions from your sales reports. Reconciling what carriers paid the agency is a different job.
Does it connect to State Farm (ECRM) or my carrier’s systems?
No. You upload the sales and lead reports your office already gets, or record a sale by hand.
Can I run more than one office?
Yes. One login for every office, switched from the header. Each extra office is $99 a month.
How do I get access?
Ask for an invite: leave your email and we’ll reach out with your invite code when a spot opens. Setup is done with you and included.
Stop doing commissions in a spreadsheet.
