More than one office
Updated
One login can belong to several offices, and each office keeps its own team, numbers and settings.
Switch between offices
The switcher is only there when your login belongs to more than one office.
The page reloads on that office's Home, and the name in the top bar changes to match. Agency Edge remembers your choice, so the next time you sign in, on any computer, you are back in the office you last used. With five or more offices, a search box appears above the list.
What belongs to an office, and what follows you
An office owns everything you work with inside it: its team, sales, leads, commission plans, pay, goals, calendar and settings. Nothing is combined. Each page shows the numbers of the office you are in and no other.
Three things belong to you and go with you:
- Your sign-in email and password.
- Your name and photo on Profile in Settings.
- The way the app looks to you: theme, chart colors, table density, the order of your menu and the columns you chose on a table.
An office can list you under a different name on its own team. When it does, Profile says so under your name, and the office changes it on its Team page.
What you can do is set office by office. You can be the Owner of one office and a Basic or Custom member of another, and the menu changes when you switch.
Open a second office of your own
Only the owner of the office on screen can open another one.
The wizard is the one you used the first time: see Create your office: the setup wizard. Its first step creates the office with you as owner and moves you into it. An office opens its pages, and with them the switcher, only when setup is finished, so finish the wizard before you need your first office again.
There is no limit on how many offices you open. If the page reads "Opening another agency is an add-on. Contact us to turn it on." where the button would be, the feature is off for the office you are in. Write to us through Help & Feedback.
Join someone else's office
The other office's owner adds you to their team and sends an invite to your email. Invite and set up your team covers their side.
Use the account whose email the invite was sent to; any other is turned away. You land in the new office, and it joins your Offices list. An invite never makes you an owner.
An owner can also give an outside adviser access. On Your offices, the three-dot button beside an office has Add a consultant. A consultant sees and edits what the owner does, is not on the team, and cannot delete the office or its data.
Leave an office, or remove someone
There is no button for leaving an office yourself. Its owner removes you:
The person keeps their login, and the office disappears from it. Their sales, pay history and commission stay as they are, and they can be invited back. Marking someone Departed ends their access in the same way.
The owner is not on that list and cannot be removed. An owner closes an office by deleting it, which removes everything in it: see Your data: download it, delete it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see my offices' numbers added together?
No. Every page shows one office. Switch offices to see the other one's numbers.
Why is there no Offices list in my menu?
The list shows only when your login belongs to two or more offices. With one office, the menu goes straight to Profile and Settings.
Can my team in one office see my other office?
No. A person sees an office only after accepting an invite to it. Opening a second office does not bring your first team with you.
I was removed from my only office. Can I still sign in?
Yes. Your login still works. You see a page saying you have no office until an owner invites you again.
