Pick a board

The boards are tabs at the top right of the page. Under each name is the number of offices on that board and, when your office is on it, your place.

  • National — every office that shares its board.
  • Your state, shown as its two-letter code — the same offices, narrowed to one state. On this board, click the state in the heading to look at another state. The tab then shows the state you picked, and the list marks your own as your state. The pick is not kept in the page's address, so a reload or a copied link opens the board on the reader's own state.
  • One tab for each league your office belongs to, under the league's name. See Custom leagues.

Choose what is ranked

1
Open Leaderboards from the menu.
2
Choose Office to rank offices, or Team Member to rank people.
3
Choose Premium or Count. Count is the number of policies.
4
Open the period menu and pick Today, This week, This month, Last month, This year or Custom range. For a custom range, set both dates and press Apply.
5
Click a column heading to rank the whole board by that product line. back to Total undoes it.

The page opens on Office, Premium and This month. Your choices are kept in the page's address, so a copied link opens the same view.

What the numbers mean

The podium holds the top three. The table lists everyone under Rank, Office or Member, Auto, Fire, Life, Health, Bank and Total.

  • A sale counts in the period it was written. Premium is the issued premium where a sale has one, and the written premium otherwise.
  • Total adds those five lines and no others.
  • A dash means the office has switched that line off. The line is left out of its Total.
  • Rows level on the same figure share a rank, shown as #2=.
  • There is no minimum. An office with nothing written in the period is listed at zero.

Offices are named in full, with their state. People are listed under the name on their office's team list, with the office beside it. Your office's row is tinted. In Team Member view your office's people are tinted, and your own row carries You.

Who appears on a board

Two switches in Settings, on the Leaderboards tab, decide this for National and the state board. Only the owner can change them, and a new office starts with both on.

  • Enable leaderboards lists your office and lets you see the other offices. With it off, your office is on neither board and only the owner can open the page, which reads Leaderboards are off for your office. Turn on leaderboards switches it back on, and All leaderboard settings opens the tab.
  • Share our team members also ranks your people by name. With it off, your people are on neither board, and Team Member view reads Your office does not share team members in place of other offices' people.

An office with a switch off is simply not listed. Switching Enable leaderboards off switches Share our team members off with it.

Three more things decide whether a person has a row in Team Member view:

  • Salesperson, on each person. Off, they have no row, though their sales still count for the office.
  • Their status. Employed salespeople are listed even with nothing written. A departed person is listed only for a period in which they wrote a sale.
  • Agency Owner Visibility, under Behavior & privacy in the owner's Preferences. Set to Hidden, the owner has no row. The office's own row still counts their sales.

What your team sees

A Basic member has Leaderboards in the menu only while Enable leaderboards is on. They see the same boards and controls as the owner, and cannot change what the office shares. The same holds for a Custom member, and the owner can also take the page away by unticking Leaderboards on their permissions.

How often the boards update

A board is read when you open the page or change a control. After a sale is recorded, uploaded, edited or deleted, your office's figures are rebuilt in the background, usually within a few minutes. Every office with leaderboards on is also rebuilt every four hours. Reload the page for newer figures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see other offices without listing mine?

Not on National or the state board. Sharing works both ways at each level there: you list your office to see offices, and you share your people to see people. A league shares only among its member offices.

Why do the rows in Team Member view add up to less than my office's total?

Service staff and a hidden owner have no row, but the office's own row counts every sale. When the owner is hidden, a note under the table says so.

Does a board show what anyone is paid?

No. A board shows policy counts and premium, and nothing about pay.

Does switching leaderboards off take us out of our leagues?

No. Your office stays on each league's board for the other offices until it leaves the league. See Custom leagues.
